Join our dynamic Fund Accounting team, where you’ll be working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment servicing international clients in the asset management industry. In this role, you’ll support a major global client - a key player in the private markets sector - gaining valuable exposure to complex investment structures and alternative asset classes. 
Your role and responsibility
As a Fund Accountant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accurate valuation and reporting of investment funds. You’ll be part of a team supporting the daily operations and reporting for an international client with a complex investment portfolio. 

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Fund Activity Monitoring - Daily review of portfolio transactions and activity.
  • Cash Settlement Processing - Handling and reconciling cash movements and settlements across multiple markets and currencies.
  • Fund Valuation - Preparation and reviewing of Net Asset Valuation (NAV) calculations.
  • Balance Sheet Reconciliation - Ensuring data integrity through regular reconciliations of cash, positions, and accruals.
  • Transactional & Data Analysis - Analyzing income, expenses, and P&L with a focus on data accuracy
  • Client Reporting & Regulatory Support - Producing fund reports, audit files, and supporting compliance reporting.
  • Frequent Communication - Regular verbal and written communication with clients, administrators, custodians, and other counterparties
  • Process Improvement Projects: Engaging in automation, workflow optimization, and cross-functional initiatives to increase operational efficiency.
You’ll be supported every step of the way, with a clear development path that leads to the opportunity to take ownership of more complex responsibilities over time.
Your experience and profile

We are looking for:

  • University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
  • Internship or experience in asset management, banking, financial services, or audit is a plus
  • Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Excel & general IT intelligence (VBA or automation experience is a plus)
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment
  • Knowledge of financial instruments, high level of independence and reliability
  • Knowledge of accounting principles - journal entries, debits/credits, double-entry bookkeeping and its impact on financial statements
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
