Your mission

We in Etops are a very intensely cooperating team where every single person takes a complex responsibility for a client and/or projects from A-Z. Everyone in our team is key to our success - individually and as a team. Everyone matters.

We are looking for a senior accountant with at least 5 years of experience in the same role to take care end to end of the general ledger, account receivable and payable accounting, cash accountings, asset register, monthly closing and reporting, including monthly accruals and deferral of revenue and costs for some of our entities in Germany.

Your role and responsibility

In this position you will be responsible for:

• Preparation of clients billing.
• Booking of client bills, accruals, verification of accounts receivable and collection.
• Liquidity management, including relations with banks.
• Payables accounting, verification of supplier invoices, booking, accruals, payments after authorization.
• Expenses notes booking and payments.
• Asset register, both tangible and intangible assets, including depreciation and amortization.
• Credit card management.
• Intercompany bills and transactions.
• Support to external tax advisor for fiscal declarations and audit.

Your experience and profile

We are looking for:

• The general ledger (GL) system used in Etops Germany is DATEV, hence a specific experience on this tool is highly preferred, but not mandatory.
• German and English are the two languages spoken in the group.
• The candidate should be able to work in autonomy.
• Alignment with different stakeholders, up to the CEO level, is necessary on a regular basis.
• We are looking for a person who cares about / takes ownership of the job, is precise, is results-oriented, is clear in reporting and communication.
• Ability of working in a team is a pre-re requisite.
• Home working is preferred, to be discussed.
