Senior Client Success Manager – Key Accounts Asset Management Germany

Your mission

As the Senior Client Success Manager you are the single point of ownership for Etops’ most valuable German asset-management clients. Your mandate is to protect this revenue base with <2% churn, achieve 120%+ net revenue retention every year, and turn these flagship clients into active references and product co-development partners.
Your role and responsibility

In this position you will be responsible for:

  1. Full Commercial Responsibility for Named Key Accounts
    • Own renewals, upsell, cross-sell and expansion revenue.
    • Negotiate multi-year contracts and commercial conditions directly with C-level and procurement.
  2. Executive Relationship Ownership
    • Personally manage relationships with CIOs, CTO, Head of Operations and Head of Digital at every key account.
    • Conduct quarterly Executive Business Reviews together with the Head of Asset Management and, when required, the CEO/CRO.
  3. Renewal & Risk Management
    • Identify and resolve renewal risks 9–12 months in advance.
  4. Growth & Platform Expansion
    • Drive adoption of new modules.
    • Close six-figure expansion deals by linking Etops capabilities to the client’s strategic initiatives.
  5. Adoption, Health & Value Realisation
    • Ensure clients achieve measurable ROI (e.g., 30–50% reduction in reporting effort, full automation of regulatory deliverables).
    • Organise power-user trainings, quarterly roadmap sessions and on-site workshops.
  6. Voice of the German Institutional Market
    • Collect, prioritise and champion client requirements into the Etops product roadmap.
  7. Forecasting & Process Excellence
    • Maintain 100% accurate renewal and expansion forecasting in Salesforce.
    • Fully adhere to the group-wide CSM standards and data-quality rules defined by Sales Operations.
Your experience and profile

We are looking for:

  • 10+ years of client-facing experience in WealthTech / Asset-Management software or institutional asset management.
  • Proven success as a Strategic/Customer Success Manager for large German institutional clients (Anlagefonds, Versicherungen, Pensionskassen, Kapitalverwaltungsgesellschaften, Stiftungen).
  • Existing strong personal network with decision-makers at German insurers, pension funds and asset managers.
  • Track record of growing key accounts.
  • Deep knowledge of the German regulatory environment (KAGB, DerivateV, GroMiKV, AnfG, Solvency II, BaFin circulars) and typical institutional workflows.
  • Native German + fluent business English.
  • University degree; CFA, CIIA or actuarial background is a strong plus.

  • Structured, analytical and obsessed with accurate forecasting and CRM hygiene
  • Calm problem-solver who turns frustrated clients into advocates
  • Enjoys very close collaboration with the Group Executive Board
